Territorial Defense Forces: status change for immediate soldiers' appearance

In order to support the state and local government administration carrying out the tasks of accepting refugees from Ukraine, a new status for immediate appearance for soldiers of the Territorial Defense Forces was introduced.

Soldiers of TDF brigades from the Podlaskie, Lubelskie and Podkarpackie voivodeships can be called to military units in less than 6 hours. Soldiers of the remaining TD brigades can be called up to military units in less than 12 hours.

The soldiers of the Territorial Defense Forces Cyber-Spatial Action Team have already received the signal of immediate appearance.

All soldiers of the Territorial Defense Forces are required to check the equipment, notify employers and ensure the opportunity to appear in the changed time regime.

We ask the employers and teachers of our TDF soldiers for understanding and for the soldiers to appear after the appropriate signal is introduced. It is possible that some of our soldiers will not show up at work, school or university tomorrow. We will do everything to alleviate the difficulties caused by this fact!

We would like to remind you that in accordance with the applicable legal order, an employer employing a WOT soldier, in the event of summoning the employee to perform duty by immediate reporting, is not obliged to pay the employee-soldier remuneration for the days on which he performed duty by immediately reporting. For this time the employer grants the employee leave free of charge. The employer may apply for reimbursement of expenses (compensation) for employing a new employee to replace a WOT soldier ordered to act immediately or entrusting this replacement to another employee employed by this employer.
