Patryk was looking for a job in construction, he already had experience in this field. He volunteered himself and was convinced it would be easy. What happened next is unacceptable - the employer stated that he would work illegally without pay and without documents.

I was looking for a job on Facebook when I came across Anna Lech Bygg&Mall. Patryk, who was responsible for the company, offered me a job. After talking to him over the phone and text messages, he promised me mountains of gold and a contract for specific work.

After working for a week, I still haven't got my promised contract. On Friday I heard that this is our last day on this construction site. There were me and two other colleagues who were also not paid for their work. We were told it was our last day and we would get our pay.

When I called on Friday afternoon, Patrick said the day wasn't over yet. Again, when I contacted Anna in the evening, she wrote back that the money had been sent - despite the fact that I did not give her a bank account number.

After I posted about being scammed by these people on Facebook, a lot of people popped up messages from other people, who were also deceived by them. They were people of different ages - one was an elderly man who said he no longer believed in kindness and honesty after being robbed by them; another woman said they had robbed her of her faith in society as a whole - these people had taken everything from her.

This story is about a Pole who came to Norway as an economic migrant. While looking for a job, he met a company that promised him a certain amount of money per hour. He was very happy when he agreed to work there and later regretted it.

Watch our program in which Patryk and his colleagues describe the whole situation in detail. Both sides of the dispute took part in the program.
