It's going to blow the hardest today

We have been observing a weather breakdown since Wednesday, when the wind blew at a speed of up to 45,6 m/s and caused enormous damage. Firefighters and other services have not yet managed to cope with all the consequences of the fatal accident weather, and Norway was again hit by a strong low pressure system, which brought with it high-speed winds again. According to forecasters, the worst weather is expected to be today (Friday, September 21.09.2018, XNUMX).

The strength of the wind is similar to that on Wednesday

According to information provided by Kristian Gislefoss from the Institute of Meteorology, on Friday there will be winds with similar strength as on Wednesday. Let us recall that at that time its greatest strength was recorded in Jølster in Kvamsfjellet, where the wind was blowing at a speed of 45,6 m/s. Now it will be similar, with the difference that there will be a breakdown this time, the weather will not affect the residents west coast. People from the Rogaland, Aust-Agder, Vest-Agder and eastern part of the Norwegian coastline.

The meteorologist also suggests that the inhabitants of the coast along the strait should secure their boats and stay away from the sea.

Kristiansand: Get your kids back sooner

Kristiansand City Council has issued an official statement advising parents to pick up their children from schools, community centers and kindergartens as soon as possible. It would be best if they did it before 15 p.m. - 00 p.m., as the weather forecasters say will be the worst at that time. It was also announced that all classes outside the walls of the institutions were canceled, which were to take place as planned after 16:00.
