Generally about NAV
Many Poles are left without a livelihood in cases of illness or unemployment. One mistake in the NAV application or the lack of a document may have bad consequences for us.
It is very important when submitting the application that you complete all the points and attach all the necessary documents. Headquarters in matters of z NAV is «folketrygdloven». The NAV.no website is also very helpful. If you do not know Norwegian, it is difficult to understand and complete the application.
In such cases, NAV is obliged to call an interpreter to the meeting. The interested party should call NAV, book the time of the meeting and inform that you need a Polish interpreter.

Nav reference
If you have been denied Benefit even though the conditions for eligibility have been met, there are 6 weeks' appeal period. The time limit for appeal is very important, otherwise the case will not be considered in a higher instance. Only in some cases can it be fought for the matter to be considered.
A well-written appeal together with documentation increases the chances that NAV will positively change the decision in our favor. The problem with appeals is that the processing time is 4 months. If NAV changes the decision to positive, then NAV also pays benefits backwards for all the waiting time.

People who need legal aid in appealing against NAV are entitled to free help if your income is below DKK 20.000 gross per month for singles and DKK 30.000 per family for married people. The family account balance must not exceed NOK 100.000 gross, otherwise the state believes that you can afford the fees.
People who are not eligible for legal aid they receive a free refund of their legal fees in these cases if the NAV-Klageinstans (NAV - higher instance) changes the decisions of the first instance positively.
