Many Poles work hard on construction sites. This is where most accidents happen. What should I do to avoid losing my rights to compensation in Norway?

Once you have completed the above points, the issue of compensation will arise. Poles expect a one-off amount, but they usually do not get it. Simultaneously the Norwegian system has rates compensation for injured workers who were exposed to accidents at work.

First, NAV usually pays compensation to the injured party in case of illness up to a year. Social security benefits equal to 100% of income from work. If the employee returns to work within a year, he or she is not entitled to compensation.

If you get sick for more than one year, you get this rehabilitation allowance (AAP). However, rehabilitation allowance (AAP) is only 64% of income from work. This equates to a loss of 36% of income in the second year after the accident. In such cases, the employer's insurer will pay this difference up to 100% of the remuneration rate.

In case of permanent disability, the employee must be diagnosed by a doctor. Then you can apply claim compensation, which may be high.
