Many Poles work hard on construction sites. This is where most accidents happen. What should I do to avoid losing my rights to compensation in Norway?

First, NAV usually pays compensation to the injured party in case of illness up to a year. Social security benefits equal to 100% of income from work. If the employee returns to work within a year, he or she is not entitled to compensation.

If you get sick for more than one year, you get this rehabilitation allowance (AAP). However, rehabilitation allowance (AAP) is only 64% of income from work. This equates to a loss of 36% of income in the second year after the accident. In such cases, the employer's insurer will pay this difference up to 100% of the remuneration rate.

In case of permanent disability, the employee must be diagnosed by a doctor. Then you can apply claim compensation, which may be high.
