The Health Council says it has seen a significant increase in the number of infected young people and that this is new for the UK variant.
90 percent of those infected in Oslo are infected with the British variant, says Robert Steen, and continues:
"It infects a lot of younger people, and it's not something we were used to until January this year," says Steen.

Steen does not say that crisis management is considering further tightening of restrictions schools in Oslo.
– The measures have been implemented since Wednesday, so this is the situation. Even though we announced it two days ago and it seems like forever since today they come into force, says Steen.
