– The most important resource of the health and care service are its employees. The fact that medical staff are quarantined can pose a challenge in hospitals and municipalities. We now know that vaccinated people rarely transmit the infection to others. This also applies to people who have taken the first dose. We are therefore amending the regulations so that vaccinated medical personnel can be exempt from quarantine if it is necessary to maintain their medical capacity. This will make it easier to staff the services so that life and health were well taken care of possible way, says Minister of Health and Care Bent Høie.
