Dean Klafuric will remain in office
After Romeo Jozak was fired, Dean Klafuric became the temporary coach of Legia Warszawa. According to official information, it was with the Croatian coach that the club's authorities decided to cooperate in the next season. It is certain that Klafuric will lead the Polish champions for another year. A new contract was signed with him for this period. There is also a clause providing for the possibility of extending the contract for another 12 months. On condition, however, that the Croatian will prove himself.
There were other candidates
As we reported, Dean Klafuric and Jerzy Brzęczek were not the only candidates for the position of the coach of Legia Warszawa. Michał Probierz and Leszek Ojrzyński were also considered. However, the leaders of the club in Warsaw decided to bet on a man who, after a hard season, won the Polish Championship in the passing season of LOTTO Ekstraklasa. A tough challenge awaits the new coach - the priority is to win all matches in the Champions League qualifiers and to compete again with the best clubs from Europe.
