We hear a lot about the successes of Polish sportsmen and big business brands. Our compatriots also have achievements in more niche areas, which is often not discussed. What's more - they are often representatives of the Norwegian Polonia, that is ourselves!
OMC Hairworld 2018
OMC Hairworld is the World Hairdressing Championships held in Paris. Winning the laurels in these professions is one of the most prestigious achievements in the career of a hairdresser. The competition is organized by the OMC organization, which has existed since 1946 and brings together over 2 million people from all over the world.

On August 23, we wrote about the Polish representation that competed in the World Championship in hairdressing in Paris. Among the hairdressers there were, among others Kamila Janecka-Skalska, who runs her own hair salon Camilla.frisør in Sandvika. We took the official media patronage over the player. She won third place in female progressive hairdressing!
Silver by a photographer from Norway
Another representative of the Norwegian Polonia also achieved success. Dariusz Bruhnke is a photographer who has won awards in many industry competitions. The most recent achievements include second place in the EISA Maestro competition, in which many competitors from 15 countries took part. Apart from naWith a cash prize, you could get the chance to publish your photos in 15 international magazines.
Dariusz Bruhnke currently lives near Trondheim. He runs photography workshops in Lofoten. You can read his work on the official fanpage. There are many photographs devoted to the aurora borealis - for this reason he is known in some circles as the "Aurora Hunter".
