Yesterday we wrote that the ruthless and extremely dangerous Hurricane Michael is approaching Florida. The effects of its impact are enormous.
Hurricane Michael and the power of destruction
As announced, Michael hit Florida from Wednesday to Thursday, late afternoon Polish time. According to the BBC, this region has never witnessed such a powerful hurricane as Michael. It was classified in the fourth category out of five possible according to the Saffir-Simpson scale.

Fatal victims and lack of electricity
According to media reports, the wind blew at a speed of over 200 km/h, and at times even reached 249 km/h. Unfortunately, the hurricane led to... fatalities. As you could hear today, CNN reported two people who died, one of which was an 11-year-old child. The station also reports that the hurricane led to massive devastation of power lines, which resulted in approximately 500 people losing electricity.
Florida saves itself
Governor Rick Scott deeply regrets the present state of Florida. The destruction is enormous and its reconstruction will be expensive, but also time-consuming. This place hasn't seen a storm like this in over a hundred years. Nowadays, after the hurricane in Florida, there are places where you can come and report because they are dedicated refuge points. Many residents have already done so, but apparently most of the victims have not responded in any way to the proposed aid.
