Bretarianism is a commonly considered style where a person can survive without food and drink. Is it really possible?
Bretarianism and non-eating
In fact, there are many ideas in our environment that support life without food, such as inedia, ginimz or solarianism. Of course, the assumptions of these philosophies differ from each other, but they have one thing in common, because people who live according to them do not eat food to live. In the most extreme cases, a person also gives up fluid intake. This is mainly related to accepting the thesis that a person uses up to 80% of his energy in the digestive process. If a person does not eat food, then, according to Bretarians, his age increases.

Their meal is the power of biophotons
People who follow the philosophy of Bretarianism in many cases feed on, or rather draw energy to live, from the power of biophotons. Ultraviolet and visible light photons are products of the biological system. To switch to this type of philosophy where a person gives up eating altogether, it is necessary to go through it gradually and properly prepare for it. The possibility of such a lifestyle is gained through being a vegetarian, very strong willpower, proper yoga exercises and meditation.
Sleep is redundant here
People who converted to Breterianism agree that their health has improved dramatically. Better mood, more energy to live, no illness, better physical condition are just a few of the pluses mentioned by yogis. The followers of the philosophy are of the opinion that food strongly affects our health, therefore they refrain from taking it in a material form. Due to the fact that they have more energy than other people, they can sleep much less than required by the norm. The number of hours of sleep they need to function properly is 2 per day.

The goal is to achieve the state of "complete man"
"Those who eat the air will attain the spiritual level of immortality and gain the Tao." This is a quote from the Book of Monthly Food Recommendations. Breterianism is not just another sect that it is very often called, it is a very old ideology that has had its followers for thousands of years. Its main assumption is to achieve the state of "complete man".
Science denies the possibility of this ideology
As it happens in life, faith and science are often out of the way. It is the same in this case because many scientists claim that a person cannot survive without food for long. The record holder is the case of Kieran Doherty, an Irish scientist, whose hunger strike in 1981 lasted 73 days. The Irishman, consuming only water, died after the aforementioned number of days. People who adhere to this philosophy reject the arguments of science in evidence, which they cite as an example of their followers, who, as they claim, can live without food for up to several dozen years.
