The Gala Concert in Fredrikstad on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Poland Regaining Independence will take place on Saturday, November 24. The outstanding pianist Marek Bracha will perform in front of the Norwegian audience. It will present works by the most famous Polish composers: Fryderyk Chopin, I. Paderewski, A. Tansman, Wł. Szpilman and J. Zarębski.

Marek Bracha is considered one of the most interesting pianists of the young generation. He honed his artistry at academies in Warsaw and London. It is distinguished by a unique, restrained and at the same time sublime expression. The artist attaches great importance to making his game sound noble and beautiful. His specialization there is music from the romantic and classical periods. He perfectly feels at performing works on both contemporary instruments and those from those eras.

Marek Bracha he plays concerts all over the world - both in countries close to us (such as Greece, Germany or Italy) and in more exotic countries (such as Algeria, Ethiopia, Chile or Japan). Consistently popularizes Polish music outside our homeland.
In April 2017, he played during a concert at the "Polin" Museum of Polish Jews. He added his sound to a symphony orchestra Warsaw Symphony under the baton of maestro Jerzy Maksymiuk.
