Is the Internet in Norway one of the most expensive in Europe? This question is asked more and more often. Especially among people who came to the fjords to work. We are used to attractive prices in Poland. How is it in other European countries?

Access to the global network can be purchased from both the largest suppliers and small local companies.

Wanting to answer the question how much is Internet in Norway we analyzed the offer of mobile operators. It is the most common form of service, offering access to the Internet from almost every corner of the country. The first of the analyzed suppliers offers:

  • 1 GB for NOK 249 per month,
  • 2 GB - 5 GB at a price from 299 to 399 NOK per month,
  • 10 GB for 449 NOK per month, with each additional 5 GB we will pay 50 NOK. The maximum bandwidth on offer is 60 GB for NOK 799 per month.

Internet in Norway on mobile phones from a competing company can be purchased in the following packages:

  • 5 GB for NOK 149 per month,
  • 10 GB for NOK 229 per month,
  • 20 GB for NOK 299 per month,
  • 100 GB for 599 NOK per month.

Both offers are based on The Internet delivered in 4G technology.

Internet in Norway and prices in other countries

Czy Internet in Norway is one of the most expensive in Europe? To answer this question, we looked at offers in two countries with a comparable standard of living - Germany and Great Britain. Similar to examining Norwegian prices for the Internet, we took into account the offer of the two largest operators.

Internet in Great Britain

Both companies also offer mobile Internet. The first operator, which is also the largest entity of this type in Great Britain, has a very wide offer. When signing a contract for 12 months, we have a choice:

  • 2 GB for £ 11 per month,
  • 5 GB for £ 15 per month,
  • 15 GB for £ 15 per month,
  • £ 30 for £ 20 a month,
  • 50 GB for £ 25 a month.

Their competition only offers packages Mobile internet in conjunction with mobile services. We have a choice of 5 tariff plans, each of them offering free calls and SMS in Great Britain. However, the data package is differentiated and the following plans are available:

  • 250 MB for £ 11 per month,
  • 1 GB for £ 14 per month,
  • 3 GB for £ 17 per month,
  • 10 GB for £ 20 per month,
  • 40 GB for £ 35 a month.

In both cases Internet is available in technology 4G.

Internet in Germany

By analyzing the market situation Internet providers in Germany we took into account the offer of the two largest operators. One of them is an international entity, and therefore offers its services both in Great Britain and our western neighbors. The first of them has three tariff plans:

  • 4 GB for EUR 24,99 per month,
  • 11 GB for EUR 29,99 per month,
  • 16 GB for 34,99 EUR per month.

His competitor's offer is slightly more attractive:

  • 10 GB for 14,99 EUR for the first 12 months - then 24,99 EUR,
  • 20 GB for 19,99 EUR for the first 12 months - then 29,99 EUR,
  • 30 GB for € 24,99 for the first 12 months - then € 34,99.

It is worth emphasizing that Internet in Germany for mobile devices it is delivered in 4G technology.

Internet in Poland

Internet in Poland is one of the cheapest in Europe. Therefore, it is even more worthwhile to include the offers of two operators in this statement. The first operator considered is the entity advertising itself as the fastest growing network in Poland. This entity offers its customers three packages:

  • 50 GB limit for PLN 40 per month,
  • no GB limit and at full speed up to 100 GB for PLN 50 per month,
  • no GB limit and at full speed up to 200 GB for PLN 60 per month.

Competitive the entity offers two packages. It is worth noting that this provider won the "Fastest Internet" ranking prepared by SpeedTest.pl. It offers its clients:

  • 30 GB limit for PLN 29,99 per month,
  • 50 GB limit for PLN 39,99 per month.

In both cases, the Internet is provided in 4G technology.

However, in those tariff plans where you can use similar transfer limits, offer of Norwegian companies is higher than for operators from Germany and Great Britain.

It is worth emphasizing, however, that Internet in Norway it is indispensable in everyday functioning. Most of the matters will be dealt with the fastest using this network, including mainly official matters.
