On Monday, Łukasz made a nice visit to the Karosseriverksted Slit workshop in Eidsberg. During the visit, he had the opportunity to talk with Polish employees about the specifics of their work and the atmosphere that accompanies them in the workshop.

Polish team in Slitu Karosseriverksted

In the workshop Karosseriverksted Slit, which celebrated its 50th anniversary this year, 9 employees from Poland are currently working. In Monday's live conversation on Radio Wataha fanpage we were able to meet four out of nine Polish employees who have been working in this place for years. It cannot be denied that in such a long-term operation of the company, Poland plays a very important role in it because Poles have been working in it for over .

The scope of the workshop's services

W Karosseriverksted Slit a whole range of services is offered. Painting, tinsmithing, mechanics, electronics and many more. It is important, however, that the last two items, i.e. electronics and mechanics, are not included in the workshop's offer, but if the customer asks for them, they will be made. Due to the fact that the workshop is developing very dynamically, all cars, from the smallest passenger cars to trucks, can be serviced in it. Another important issue is the replacement cars owned by the company, the number of which is at the moment 6 including 2 vans prepared for customers who run their own business.

Important help

During the conversation, Łukasz raised a fairly important topic about people who come from Poland and want to use the services of the workshop Karosseriverksted Slitbut they don't know Norwegian. In such situations, there is no fear of a linguistic misunderstanding because Polish employees are ready to help. As they claim, they have already had the opportunity to help their compatriots fill out insurance documents and carry out the entire repair of the car.

Family atmosphere

We all know very well how important the atmosphere at work is. The place where we spend most of our time should be friendly and comfortable for us. When asked what is the atmosphere in the workshop Karosseriverksted Slit men unanimously answer: POLAND and FAMILY. Therefore, we wish them such an atmosphere every day and another equally good years of work in the workshop.
