A windy start to the new year
Everybody knew that windy weather awaits the inhabitants of Norway on New Year's Eve. Weather stations have been reporting very unfavorable weather for a long time, which was to be characterized by a strong north-westerly wind and numerous rainfall and snowfall. Therefore, the harsh weather came as no surprise to any of us. Unfortunately, the New Year's wind is not a promising phenomenon on the first day of the New Year. It promises to blow all day long. Only in the evening the force of the wind will subside and tomorrow it will only get better - says meteorologist Geir Ottar Fagerlid.
