The announced New Year's Eve weather did not disappoint. Strong winds and very heavy rainfall took its toll. Currently, there are difficult road conditions, against which the police warn every driver. Most of the mountain passes have been closed. In particular, they should be careful with drivers who are traveling between west and east. If you're planning on going through the mountains, you should go to Filefjell, where you will be welcomed by much better road conditions.

Everybody knew that windy weather awaits the inhabitants of Norway on New Year's Eve. Weather stations have been reporting very unfavorable weather for a long time, which was to be characterized by a strong north-westerly wind and numerous rainfall and snowfall. Therefore, the harsh weather came as no surprise to any of us. Unfortunately, the New Year's wind is not a promising phenomenon on the first day of the New Year. It promises to blow all day long.
