From yesterday, from 17:00 p.m., the National Mourning after the death of the President of Gdańsk, Paweł Adamowicz, has been taking place. Its end is scheduled for today, at 19:00. During the mourning, state flags in offices, institutions, offices, state and local authorities will be lowered halfway.

“In connection with the tragic death of the President of Gdańsk, Paweł Adamowicz, President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda sent to the countersignature of the Prime Minister a regulation on the introduction of national mourning on the territory of the Republic of Poland. The mourning will take place from Friday, 17:00 p.m., that is, from the moment the coffin is led out to St. Mary's Basilica in the form of a march through the streets of the city, until Saturday, until 19:00 p.m. During the time of national mourning, the national flags will be lowered to the middle of the mast " - the announcement was made available on the President's website

Funeral procession
Yesterday, at 17:00 p.m., a funeral procession with Paweł Adamowicz's coffin set off from the European Solidarity Center in Gdańsk. The procession passed through places that were important and close to the heart of the president of Gdańsk. Finally, the procession went to St. Mary's Basilica, where Paweł Adamowicz will be buried today at 12:00.
