Non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and cancer are responsible for 70% of deaths worldwide. According to WHO, they also pose a very high threat to human health in 2019. The organization informs that over 85% premature deaths take place in low and middle income countries. What factors influence this? WHO states that:

- lack of a healthy diet
- use of tobacco
- too much alcohol consumed
- air pollution
Antibiotic resistance
It turns out that more and more viruses, parasites and bacteria are starting to become more resistant to antibiotics, antiviral and anti-malaria drugs. Reason? Doctors too often and readily prescribe sequential doses of antibiotics to humans, but farm animals are often fed them.
