Angelika Rusinek-Pietrzak: The Road to an Active Social Role in Norway
Origin and Family
Hi, my name is Angelika and I come from Drawsko Pomorskie, a charming town in the West Pomeranian region. I am a proud mother of two wonderful children: an 11-year-old son and a 6-year-old daughter. Marriage completes my life.
Education and Passions
I am a political scientist by education, I graduated in special education. My interests are not only professional work, but also training, cooking and baking. I also love trips.
Living in Norway and Professional Development
I have been living in this beautiful country for 15 years, from the beginning in Fredrikstad. At the very beginning, I worked as a domestic help, learning Norwegian at the time. However, I quickly said goodbye to my position in a nursing home, where I worked for several fruitful years. The following years were devoted to working as an advisor in NAV institutions.
Community involvement and achievements
Thanks to my professional work, I was able to participate in many important and interesting projects, including OsloMet research and Arbeidsforskningsinstituttet. Thanks to my work, I had the opportunity to help many people, supporting them in finding a job, starting education, or learning about their rights in Norway. Local elections also for the Polish community
Fight for Equality and Social Integration
Working with young people and women from around the world made me realize how important it is to fight discrimination, the need to defend their civil rights and how important it is to integrate society. This experience also applies to the fact that the process of integration into society can be valuable and obligatory.
Continuous Development and Social Involvement
As a person striving for continuous development, I was constantly looking for opportunities for further education. I graduated in employment, administration in the health sector, Supported Employmnet and Coaching. I can say about myself that I am a fulfilled person. In addition, I am a Confidential Officer in one of the main professional suppliers in my workplace, ensuring that employees' rights are respected.
Community Impact and Activism
Privately, I chair the Council for Social and Cultural Integration and Diversity in Fredrikstad. I am also the vice-president of Venstre Fredrikstad, I actively support the Union of Poles in Østfold and I participate in the parents' council at my children's school.
Angelika Rusinek-Pietrzak is responsible for adhering to the principles of equality and inclusion. Her contribution to the community of Fredrikstad and her work with migrants are an inspiration to others.
Pursuing a Better Future: My Political Mission
As a person involved in social activities, I decided to run in the local elections without any major problems. For years, both professionally and privately, he has been dealing with integration, the rights of national and cultural minorities and the promotion of Polish culture and traditions. I was encouraged to take part in the elections because of the stagnation in my city and the growing situation residents' problems, such as poverty among children, discrimination, unemployment, the increasingly worse condition of schools and offers for children, and the insufficient number of family doctors. That's why I decided it was time to finally do something about it and take matters into my own hands. Because who else should fight for our rights and a better tomorrow if not ourselves... I chose Venstre because its values are closest to my values.
Political Goals: Families, Integration, Entrepreneurs
In my political activities, I focus on several goals. My priority is to work on improving the pro-family policy and social integration. I believe that every child is equal and should have equal access to education and extracurricular activities, and this should not depend on the financial situation of the parents. I also strive to improve health care for children in need of specialists, as well as better cooperation between health facilities and schools/kindergartens.
My dream is that all children grow up in a safe environment and have equal access to extracurricular activities, can pursue their passions and that they know that their background and parents' financial status will not affect their development opportunities.
Things of my heart
