Access to the Internet should be fast and uninterrupted. Every citizen of the country should have free access to digital media - the planned changes and modifications will guarantee this.

The implemented works are aimed at increasing free access to the network of all Norwegians. They are also closely related to the new EU law imposing an obligation to use a broadband connection. By 2023, all households in Norway (both in cities and in the periphery) are expected to have access to a broadband connection.
