In recent weeks, we have attached great importance to issues related to raising children. We have already written about the bilingualism of children living in Norway and about learning the mother tongue, the undeniable impact it has on the development of a toddler. Today we will touch upon issues of behavior at home - many young children and adolescents live in families where there is screaming and even physical and psychological violence. We say, "No, don't yell at the baby! Talk to me!"

Parent! Don't yell at the baby! Your emotions influence the development of a young person ...

Nerves? Stress? Unpleasant situation at work? No raise? Or maybe family problems? After a hard day's work, many of us return home and discharge our emotions on the family: children, spouse. It's a dead end road. It is not the child's fault that you are having a bad day, that something did not go as you wanted ... The child cannot be a punching bag ... Why? A small child's brain (and a large child's brain too ...) is as absorbent as a sponge. Psychologists appeal and repeat: our personality, character, who we are we take out of the house. The emotions we experience sit in the child and sooner or later will explode ... Let the house be a place where you rest ...

Psychological violence towards a child - consequences in adult life ...

You will collect all your life what you sowed ... The child is watching ... Even if you think that he cannot see, he does not feel if your words do not make an impression on him, screaming, nervousness, negative emotions transmitted at home stay with the toddler and in adult life. At the beginning, such a child may have problems at school: in relationships with friends, peers, his self-confidence can be really badly disturbed. In his adult life, he will pass on what he got at home ... The madman, heartless boss, is the child from the past who was once shouted at. A despot husband who controls his wife is a child who once did not have the right to vote. She did not receive any kind words from her parents, did not hear: "We are proud of you!". Frustration returns years later and strikes twice as hard ...

Conversation as a priority in upbringing!

Turn negative emotions into something positive ...

Do you have a nervous job? You have no control over your emotions? Find a way out of your emotions without the need to scream. You can invite your children to work together:

Talk about your emotions with your family ... TALK! Don't yell at the baby! TALK! Children whose needs and fears have been spoken openly are conscious, valuable and empathetic people. Dialogue teaches sensitivity, but also brings you closer to each other ...
