It is the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II. Special ceremonies took place at Piłsudski Square in Warsaw. There were many invited guests. + Special speeches were made by Vice President of the United States of America Michael Pence, President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier and President of Poland Andrzej Duda. An honorary salute was held and the guests rang the bell. The whole thing ended with a parade.

Delegations from 40 countries came to the celebrations commemorating the outbreak of World War II: including presidents, prime ministers, speakers of parliaments, ministers of foreign affairs, national defense, envoys of royal families from Europe.
