Coronavirus-Benefit for people who stay with children
Nav has made the decision to pay out the omsorgspenger allowance.
Usually you do not need to apply for Childcare Day Allowance. Each employee is entitled to a certain number of days of care per calendar year depending on the family situation and the number of children, usually 10 days.
If you have chronically ill or disabled children, or the other parent is unable to supervise the child because of, for example, illness, incarceration or conscription, you may apply for additional paid days.
Schools and kindergartens in Oslo are closed.
