. DSB Encourages additional necessary supplies

The Directorate for Security and Preparation (DSB) previously reported list things that Norwegian residents should have at home in order to protect themselves when access to shops is not possible.

In an emergency, the items on the list should cover the basic needs for the first three days of the crisis. These are drinks, food, medicines, hygiene items, radio.

The list states, among other things, that you should have two packets of crispbread, one packet of oatmeal, three canned food or packets of dry food per person, and packets of dried fruit, nuts, biscuits or chocolate.

The list also says that you should have medication, including the ones you need right now, toilet paper and towels, and first aid equipment.

- You don't have to change your shopping habits

- If several of us are able to take care of ourselves and those around us during quarantine. Then you can also help where it is needed the most, says the head of DBS.
