Gifts from abroad.
A pair of slippers for Grandma.
Since I have been spending a week of vacation in my hometown, Lublin, since I booked my airline tickets, I was thinking about one thing. Of course, about the Family. But specifically ..
Presents.
For Godmother or Dziadzio - brown cheese or maybe magnets? But children .. This is just a topic of the river .. My most important (un) holy trinity are two 7-year-olds and one two-year-old. Plus two boys, including one newborn. And this is one more baby, and one more .. I love them all, but in the store I get confused with confusion .. The stores have such a wide range that it's really hard to decide. Maybe a summer swimsuit, a teddy bear or Norwegian coloring? I am faced with a difficult choice. Bratowa always says I have to rely on myself and buy what I want. But it's best that nothing. My friend from my former job in Poland wrote that I should forget about gifts. Unless I stubbornly persist, maybe a bag of magnetic sand. I have a question..
What is magnetic sand ?? !!
I have no idea .. I'll be looking for whatever it is. In this way, I began to wonder about what made me happy in my childhood. To this day, I remember playing outside. Jump rope, rubber, hopscotch. At home, tamagotchi, jojo or watching an interactive Hugo program (it was just a sense of modernity!) .. Now, looking at the kids, they have everything. Certainly what my generation has not even dreamed of. Mobile phones and applications where you record your dance or stories for your followers (followers, by the way, because you surely know it). And what, I, such aunt, should I bring from the country of the fjords? I'm afraid I won't be impressed. But that's not the point. It's just memory, because I expect what they get will end up somewhere in the corner after a while. I put on necklaces for girls, rompers, clothes, educational toy. That, according to my conscience, a given thing would be useful even for a moment. And who knows, maybe in a while I will try back to my childhood and give someone a tamagotchi. I wonder if it will make the same impression as it used to be.
Gifts from abroad. And are you, going to Poland, do you also give gifts to your loved ones?
I am waiting for your ideas!
