Change of address Folkeregisteret - when should I notify?
Remember that a change of address should be reported in three cases:
- change of residence in Norway,
- modification of the correspondence address,
- departure from Norway for a period longer than 6 months.
It is worth noting that the change of place of residence must also be reported at the post office. Otherwise, our correspondence will not be redirected to the new address. The change of the address of residence must be notified within 8 days of the date of the move.
