, who lived in the family home after being placed there by child welfare. The woman herself believes that the boy took advantage of her.

On April 3 last year, the police contacted a childcare worker in eastern Norway. It was about possible sexual exploitation of a minor boy placed in a foster family.

After reporting, the policemen arrived at the place, where they were handed a video from a camera that their foster father had secretly placed in the bathroom of the house.

The video was taken because he suspected that his wife, a surrogate mother, and a minor foster son were having sexual intercourse.

TV 2 does not know the content of the recording, but after being received by the police, the surrogate mother was arrested.

On Monday, a trial began against a woman who is accused of having sexual contact with a minor boy. This lasted from fall 2019 until her arrest last April.

According to police, the alleged attacks took place in the family home, in the car and in a hotel room.

The woman is the victim?

The woman's defense attorney, Jon Anders Hasle, says his client finds the case very difficult and completely disagrees with the boy's explanation for the raped boy on Monday.

"In her mind, she was used," Hasle says to TV 2 after the first day in court.

- We believe that she is innocent and that she must be acquitted completely - she adds.

The video is one of the pieces of evidence the prosecution will present, but Hasle will do whatever it can to ensure that the video is not played in court.

He believes that the evidence was obtained illegally and concerns secret surveillance.

- Then it is up to the court to decide whether to present it or not. We will justify this, inter alia, art. 8 of the ECHR, which says that everyone has the right to private and family life, says Hasle.

Rape suspect

Five days after the foster mother's arrest underage boy he was questioned by police experts at the State Orphanage.

During a 2-hour and 40-minute court hearing, the boy was questioned in detail about his relationship with a surrogate mother.

In the first part of the interrogation, the boy explains himself in a way which, according to the prosecutor's office, makes it possible to suspect that he might have used her. In the second half of the questioning, an explanation appears which forms the basis of the indictment against the surrogate mother.

Sexual intercourse with a minor boy - From 50 to 100 times

The victim, who was a teenager when the alleged abuse took place, explains during a police interrogation that he and the surrogate mother had feelings for each other.

They shared a bed several times and slept together in his room. Sleeping together began when the boy fell ill, but the procedure continued.

He estimates that he and his adoptive mother had intercourse 50 to 100 times. In addition, she says that they both took the lead against the sexual acts.

In the interrogation, the boy says that he does not want him or his surrogate mother to go to prison.

Neither the police lawyer nor the boy's lawyer want to comment on the case.

Five days have been booked for the hearing, which ends on Friday.
