The Champions League continues. Unfortunately, after the match against PSG, our "Polish national pride" had to resign from further activity in this unique event for every football fan. The athlete is struggling with health problems and for now there is no indication that he will be able to return to the pitch any time soon. What do we know more? When will we see Robert in action again...?

Robert Lewandowski does not participate in the Champions League ...

As a reminder, Robert is undergoing intensive rehabilitation all the time and returns to form after collateral ligament damage in his right knee. We wrote a little more about it in the news article: Mariusz Pudzianowski before the fight. The footballer really wanted to return to the field. So far, however, it is too risky. A little inattention is enough, wrong positioning of the foot and the injury can get worse. Robert will return to work on the field only after the physiotherapists will give permission for such a move.

Meanwhile, the Champions League is gaining momentum ... Emotions are rising!

The founders of the event include: Real Madrid, Manchester City and Chelsea FC. Today, one of the groups may possibly be disfellowshipped. It's worth remembering. Real Madrid will take the field from Chelsea. Paris Saint-Germain will play against Manchester City. The first matches start on April 27 and 28, and the rematch on May 4 and 5. The final in Istanbul will take place on May 29 ...

Other news from the world of sport: Zbigniew Boniek appointed vice president of the European Football Union?

Robert Lewandowski and his participation in the Champions League is not all important information. We have another ... Zbigniew Boniek received an unusual offer. UEFA president, the Slovenian Aleksander Czeferin, proposed that he should take the position of the vice-president of the European Football Union. There are already six such vice-presidents: Swede, Karl-Erik Nilsson, Pole, Hungarian Sandor Csanyi, Portuguese Fernando Gomes, Spaniard Luis Rubiales and Englishman David Gill.

“The other members of the Executive Committee are: French Florence Hardouin, Albanian Armand Duka, Russian Alexander Djukow, Italian Gabriele Gravina, German Rainer Koch, Dane Jesper Moeller, Ukrainian Andrij Pavlenko, Dutch Just Spee, Croatian Davor Suker, Turkish Servat Yardimci, German Karl- Heinz Rummenigge, Qatari Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Spaniard Javier Tebas. Exactly these twenty people have powerful power. Because it is tradition that the most important decisions - for example about the formats of the competitions - are made at meetings of the UEFA Executive Committee, and not at the congress in which all federations participate. Zbigniew Boniek in a new role. Will he be able to cope with the new challenge? Will it change the face of football?
