- In June, unemployment fell even more, and in the summer we enter the labor market with very good opportunities to include more people in the working life. At the same time, we see that the number of vacancies has slightly decreased in recent months and the number of new jobseekers has increased slightly. This may indicate that unemployment is currently at its lowest point, says director of labor and social services, Hans Christian Holte.
At the end of June, 47 people were registered, which was 100 percent. manpower. 2300 totally unemployed are laid off and 2200 partially unemployed. In total, those laid off in June made up 0,2 percent of the workforce. Fall for all professional groups
After allowing for normal fluctuations seasonal number of job seekers decreased in all occupational groups from May to June. Biggest drop in Agder
Jobseekers declined nationwide in June after adjusting for normal seasonal fluctuations. The relative decline was greatest in Agder, where job seekers were 5 percent lower than in May.
The percentage of completely unemployed was the highest in Oslo - 2,1%. manpower. Nordland and Trøndelag have the lowest unemployment (1,2%). In individual voivodships, there is less variation in the percentage of partially unemployed people. The number of jobseekers dropped the most in June among people aged 60 and over (-7%). There was a slight increase in the age group under 20, adjusted for normal seasonal fluctuations.
High job demand
In June, 41 new vacancies were registered on arbeidplassen.no. This corresponds to 100 new vacancies per working day, or 2200 percent. less than in June last year. Adjusted for seasonal fluctuations, the number of vacancies has decreased somewhat in the past two months, but remains high.
The largest number of new vacancies was in health, nursing and care (8400), shops and sales (4400), and service and other occupations (4000).
