We can shop there in Poznań. The idea of unattended stores is nothing new - this type of stores have been present in the world for a very long time. Now a chain of such stores is introduced by the well-known and popular Żabka. We will be able to "enter" the store 7 days a week and 24 hours a day using the Żappka Store application. How will this solution work in Poland?
A maintenance-free frog? You can do shopping with the help of a special application ...
We like Żabka. We value it for the fact that it is open 7 days a week in Poland. You can buy drinks, snacks, quick meals, when in our daily pursuit we lack the moment to prepare a full meal and cook. Żabka without cash registers will be operated by the Żabka Store application. How will it look like?
- you go to the door of the selected store, open the application, scan the special QR code associated with the store. The door opens
- you are shopping, there is monitoring in the store. Camera system that verifies goods taken from the shelves,
- you leave the store with purchases, and the amount is charged from the payment card you have attached - added when registering in the application.
An innovative idea that must succeed ...
Żabka already announced such solutions in 2018. Now it is implementing it.
Żappka Store is a combination of offline and online worlds, building a new shopping experience for customers who can make quick purchases even in a few seconds by selecting a product and simply exit without having to pay on the spot. They do not have to wonder if they have cash or a payment card, whether they will be standing in line, or where they will do their shopping, because it is 5 am. This is a new value on the market and a supplement to our current offer - assures Tomasz Blicharski, managing director of Żabka Future (Bussines insider).
Żabka is launching a new initiative. We are convinced that this solution will work perfectly well, above all, in smaller towns, where it is difficult to complete the entire "Żabki team".
