The Norwegian Labor and Welfare Administration (NAV) nominated 1363 candidates. Currently, the registered positions of seasonal workers in the green industry are 2008. This is a job in the production of potatoes, vegetables, fruits, strawberries and the like. Only 270 of them took up employment.
The severe restrictions on the crown meant that the organic industry in Norway, as a rule, had to resort to Norwegian labor for the harvesting of strawberries and other vegetables and fruits.

asked NAV for 2000 seasonal workers
From January to the end of May, the industry applied for a total of 4902 seasonal workers, of which 2008 directly through NAV, the data comes from the NAV program.
According to statistics, only 270 jobs out of 2008 are filled. However, a NAV spokesman said the figures could be uncertain as some employers fail to inform them when applicants get a job.
"In addition, there are many candidates NAV presents who, in the employer's opinion, do not meet the competency requirements, so employers have found other candidates."
