Mjøstårnet is an 85,4 meter wooden building with 18 floors, which is by far the tallest wooden building in the world. The building enjoyed and still enjoys great international recognition. At the end of May, the building was recognized as one of the best structures in the world by the renowned skyscraper organization Concil on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH). Mjøstårnet has been between the E2019 and Mjøsa road since its completion in 6. A small wooden town grows around this tower. Like Mjøstårnet, several inland companies develop other buildings.
