Several areas have changed the color of the EU infection map this week. All of Sweden is red and southern Spain goes from dark red to red.

Risk assessment by the EU ECDC infection control agency helps to lay the groundwork for the National Institute of Public Health (FHI) infection map, but there is no automatism in the fact that the conclusion is the same.

FHI will update its maps on Friday, which will show which countries and regions have additional requirements when entering Norway. On this basis, the government will make a final decision on the same day, before the changes will enter into force on Monday.

If you are coming to Norway from the orange or red region, the requirements include: submission to the entry quarantine. However, this does not apply to people who are fully vaccinated or who have had the disease in the last six months. When the country is dark red, part of the quarantine must also be carried out in quarantine hotels.
