The special unit applied for the arrest of the man for two years. Vestfold District Court considers it inappropriate that the man has long used his position in relation to the three women.
3 victims of a policeman
The first woman a policeman was to have sexual intercourse with in 2015-2019. She was an informer for a police officer in the drug community in Vestfold. The police officer also investigated several criminal cases in which a drug addict was involved. According to the indictment, they were both allegedly having oral sex at the police station.
The second woman encountered the policeman when she took part in an interrogation as a witness in 2016. The day after the interrogation, the policeman went to the woman, which led to the two having sex in her house. Two and a half years later, the same woman was injured in a car accident. Before the interrogation, the policeman went to the woman's house and had intercourse with her, according to the indictment.
During the year, from fall 2017 to fall 2018, a policeman had sexual intercourse with a woman several times. During the same period, he was an investigator into violence in which a woman had witness status.
Sentenced to two years and three months in prison
W Wednesday, the policeman was convicted of all counts in the indictment. However, he himself denied the accusations all along. He claims he never had sexual intercourse with any of these women.
The policeman intimidated the victims
In October 2019, a police officer contacted two women. According to the indictment, he wanted one of them to be heard and lied about him. In the second case, he wanted to explain that they never had sex. Another woman, who was a police informant, was reportedly threatened with a policeman telling the city's criminal community that he had provided information to the police.

The Vestfold District Court also convicted a police officer of serious breach of duty. After he warned a woman in 2018 that the police would search her home.
Attorney Steinar Thomassen says the police officer had a hard time after being charged. He was also convicted of illegal possession of a gun.
- My client pleads not guilty, with the exception of the indictment regarding the Firearms Act. He denies having had sexual intercourse with the victims in the case, says the policeman's defense lawyer.
