Jonas Gahr Støre
After "preliminary talks" between the Labor Party and the Socialist People's Party at the home of party leader Jonas Gahr Støre last night. The Labor Party is taking the next step and today will meet SV leader Audun Lysbakken. The interviews were described as informal and introductory.
Before the weekend, Støre will also try to talk to Rødt leader Bjørnar Moxnes and MDG leader Une Bastholm.
Meeting of the central board in Sp after the elections
The Center Party will hold a central board meeting today after the elections. Yesterday evening party leader Trygve Slagsvold Vedum met with the Labor Party on the formation of a government. Trygve Slagsvold Vedum did not comment on the topic of the talks in more detail.
After the elections, the Center Party will have 28 representatives and will be the third largest party in the Storting after the Labor Party and the Conservative Party. However, there is an internal dispute as to whether the party should join a government in which the SV is also involved.
