Information about people who suffered from a lightning strike is still available. Some people were transported to the hospital with very severe skull injuries, advanced burns - unfortunately some people are still in a serious condition. Doctors and medical teams make every effort to ensure that patients quickly recover and their condition improves.

Tragedy in the Tatra Mountains - Zakopane in mourning
The mayor of Zakopane has introduced a period of mourning in the city - from Friday August 23.08 to Sunday August 25.08.2019, XNUMX). In a special statement, he asked for special respect for the memory of the victims of the tragedy in the Tatra Mountains on those days:
- I appeal to all the organizers of entertainment, cultural and sports events with an appeal to cancel them or limit them during the mourning period. I am in pain with the families of the victims and all the victims, and I am asking the residents to pray for them - wrote the mayor of Zakopane in a communiqué.
