Continuous decline in the use of antibiotics for farm animals in Norway
In the period from 2013 to 2020, there was a 23% decrease in the use of antibiotics for farm animals in Norway. This is due to the NORM-VET report for 2020, which the Veterinary Institute submitted to the Norwegian Food Safety Authority. NORM-VET is responsible for the Norwegian antibiotic resistance monitoring program in feed, animal and food microbreweries.
