A lightly dressed four-year-old boy who is cold. A police patrol took care of a boy who was walking alone in downtown Bergen at night just before 2 on Sunday.

The boy was found in the center of Bergen, by Engen.

- We got a message from patrol at 1.51. He was lightly dressed and cold, and was taken to a squad car where he could warm up, says NTB operations manager Eivind Hellesund in the Western Police District.

At 4.30 am, the police declare that they have received confirmation of the child's identity and the circumstances of the incident.

- The boy is in good hands now. The case will be followed up by barnevernet, says the operations manager.

- The boy was initially sent to barnevernsvakten. We're working on the case tonight, says Hellesund just before XNUMX:XNUMX on Sunday.
