On Thursday morning, a large landslide blocked National Road 13 at Lovravatnet in Suldal. The road will be closed for up to a week.
Police were notified of the rock slide at 10.27:XNUMX am Thursday morning. Several tons of rock fell from the several hundred meter high mountain that rises in the innermost part of Lovrafjorden.
- It is currently uncertain whether the rock landslide is over. The landslide has fortunately caused no casualties, reports the Western Police District.
The intersection of national road 13 and district road 46 Indre Ryfylkeveg through Lovravatnet was completely blocked. According to Vegtrafikksentralen the road will be closed for about a week.
- The landslide is about 10 meters wide. It's still raining on the spot. The road is closed towards Lovra from the side of Sand, informs the police district.
