Russia has nothing to do with the migration crisis on the Belarusian-Polish border, says President Vladimir Putin.
"I want everyone to know: we have nothing to do with it," Putin said in an interview with Russian state television Vesti.
Putin goes on to say that European leaders need to talk to Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenka if they want an end to the crisis.
From what I understand, Lukashenka and Angela Merkel are eager to talk. I hope it can happen in the near future, it is very important - said Putin.
