Due to a fire, a safety zone with a radius of 300 meters was established at the recycling plant in Ågotnes.
- There have been reports that there is no radioactive waste in the building, previously it was suspected that it may be there. So the danger has passed, says Jan Ove Haga, duty commander.
The police state in a press release that the fire department is not in control of the fire at the moment, but is limited to the building in question. They inform that the smoke that spreads is dangerous.

- Due to the content of the hall, a safety zone of 300 meters has been established, but there are no houses in this area, said operations manager Dan Erik Johannessen NTB on Thursday afternoon.
No decision was made to evacuate houses in the area. The commune sent a text message to the residents asking them to close their doors and windows.
