A decision could be made at Oslo University Hospital (OUS) on Monday. That workers working with groups of sensitive patients may be asked about the status of the vaccine.
This is confirmed by spokesman Anders Bayer at the hospital for Avis Oslo.
There are managers who need to be able to assess the risk of workers who work with particularly vulnerable patient groups and need to be able to apply for vaccination status.
Today the hospital does not have the legal authority to do so, but it can be decided on Monday.
The OUS currently has an overview of how many people have been vaccinated through its own hospital immunization program. However, workers who were vaccinated outside the hospital were not included in these figures.
All unvaccinated workers in the group must be tested twice a week in accordance with the guidelines of the Norwegian Directorate of Health. Workers who do not wish to declare their vaccination status will be considered unvaccinated.
