There are no negotiations with organizations. Therefore, it is the Ministry of Health and Healthcare that sets the tariffs in accordance with the Storting's budget spending plan on December 16, 2021.

For orthodontics, the decision was made to increase the benefits by NOK 50 million in 2022. This was implemented by an average 10 percent increase in orthodontics rates, in addition to an overall price adjustment.

More information on tariffs and tariff conditions can be found in the links below. Dentists and dental hygienists who make claims to Helfo must have a direct settlement agreement with Helfo. Without such an agreement, dental treatment benefits will not be paid from the social security system.
