Police report.

So far, no injuries to other people involved in the accident have been reported.

This happened at Tretten in the municipality of Øyer, north of Lillehammer.

The E6 road will be closed for an extended period and the police are considering a detour in consultation with the Norwegian Public Roads Authority.

The police urge traffic participants in a traffic jam not to turn back, as this may lead to further danger to traffic and be an obstacle for emergency services.
