Record net exports and higher energy prices. Electricity prices in Scandinavia and Northern Europe went up last week. The lower share of wind energy and higher fuel and CO prices contributed to the increase 2 . In the south Norway (NO1, NO2 and NO5) the weekly price was 305 øre/kWh, an increase of 70 percent compared to the previous week. Energy prices in countries with which Norwegia has replacement capacity, were even higher. This led to Norway recording its highest ever net exports in during the week.
The increase in energy prices was greatest in central Norway (NO3), where the weekly price was 269 øre/kWh, an increase of 240 percent compared to the previous week. Never before has central Norway had such a high weekly price. During certain hours the price in central Norway was 500 øre/kWh and was higher than in the southern price areas of Norway. During this time, wind energy production in northern Norway and Sweden was very low, and central Norway obtained the same price as northern Sweden (SE2). Electricity price in northern Norway (NO4) has doubled compared to the previous week and is still 129 øre/kWh.

Reports of hydropower producers in southern Norway
There are 10 producers in southern Norway who assemble reports with information about production and filling of tanks. In total, these reports include: taxes from 63 power plants. These power plants have a total storage capacity of 43,7 TWh, which accounts for 76 percent of the total storage capacity in southern Norway.
