The government has proposed changes to the electricity subsidy program to make the program predictable and reliable. Among other things, it is proposed that the electricity subsidy should be based on the hourly price of electricity, that the subsidy rate should increase to 90 percent over 70 øre throughout the year, and that the scheme be extended to all of 2024.
