Most people will receive Child Benefit at the new rates from 31 March. If you are not paid your new rate in March, your money will be refunded by the end of July 2023. You don't need to contact anyone or submit an application.
While single parents will gain the most, you should also be aware that they will lose the tax credit. It's important to understand how this change will affect your family's finances. Right to special deductions for people alone raising children will be abolished from March 2023, along with the increase in the child benefit rate. This is included in the 2023 tax card.
