Travel - what is associated with them?
Our times are such that traversing several thousand kilometers is not a problem for us today. We go on business trips, travel on vacation or look for a better place on earth. The fact that travel has become very accessible to virtually all of us is a big plus, but each such adventure is associated with climate change, and this is not always good for us. Then what about our skin, which we unfortunately rarely think about?
The influence of the climate on our body
The weather and the environment have a huge impact on us. Our well-being, mental and physical condition often depend on where we live. Everything that surrounds us later affects our condition and health, and thus also our appearance, and we ladies, in particular, care about looking good.
Does climate change affect our skin?
Of course, the answer to this question must be affirmative. We women, and especially men, greatly underestimate the organ that is the skin. Very few people take care of it properly, and we often forget that by changing the climate, we expose it to many external stimuli that do not have a positive impact on its condition. Sun rash or even dryness are one of the few symptoms that may appear. Fortunately, the skin is an organ that quickly informs us about its negative condition. Nevertheless, we should not wait for the alarm, but react preventively. Appropriate care and preventive measures are the best treatment. It is very important to remember that children are particularly vulnerable to negative influence on their skin by climate change. Well, young skin is not yet able to defend itself against strong environmental changes.
How to avoid the symptoms of climate change?
It all depends on where we are at the moment. However, there are universal ways to prevent some negative changes:
- avoid contact of tap water because its changed composition may lead to skin allergy,
- use sunscreen all year round and remember that the winter sun is stronger than the summer sun,
- apply lotions on the body that will moisturize our skin - here great attention to the Norwegian climate because it dries our skin, so embalming the body and moisturizing it becomes doubly important,
- we should dress appropriately to the weather, so as not to overheat or cool the body,
- The Norwegian climate also dries our skin, so remember about the lips in particular, because the skin of the lips is the most exposed to it. The skin of the lips does not have sebaceous glands, it is thin and delicate, so it will absorb a thick layer of lip balm or butter.
