Norway and EU countries had a few exceptions to the pet laws that come with owners fleeing the war in Ukraine. These exemptions have now been abolished at the request of the EU. Animals that come to Norway from Ukraine must now meet the usual animal health requirements.

What does it mean?.

In the case of dogs and cats, this means that they must be marked, vaccinated against rabies, have a blood sample taken. They must be vaccinated against tapeworm and must have a health certificate from a public veterinarian in the sending country.
